The six Glatorian were fighting a swarm of Vorox. Every time one fell, two more took its place.
"We can't fight much longer." Said Mata Nui.
"I know." Ackar said.
"We need to find the source of this." Said Mata Nui.
"Malum." Ackar muttered.

Legend Reborn Spoilers below:
This Malum is actually made from Scarabax Beetles and they are swiping at Bonehunters and Skrall. The Vorox ran away in the film before the arrival of the monster Malum. Current rumors suggest that it is possible Malum may actually have been a glatorian who died and became the Scarabax beetles.
Actually Scorpio Malum didn't die in the book "Raid on Vulcanus" it show's you that Malum is alive in the wastelands and help's Ackar defeat a group of Bone Hunters.
